Share your charisma with the festival and become a TAIWANfest emcee!

Practice your public speaking skills by learning about local and international artists, cultural connections, and history. Introduce our programs to the audience and present the festival to a diverse community. Shine bright on the TAIWANfest stage!

Key Responsibilities:

• Learning this year’s programming prior to the festival.
• Check in with staff and artists backstage and ensure scheduled programming runs smoothly.
• Introduce performing artists / speakers and engage with the live audience.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly attitude.
• Commitment to attending orientation sessions prior to the festival and at least one whole day of the festival.
• Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
• Ability to adapt to changes with the scheduled programming with little warning.
