About This Opportunity
This position is an opportunity to become more engaged in and support the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Brantford/Brant
Responsibilities include:
- Organize bi-monthly peer social groups
- Ensure the group norms are adhered to at all times
- Attend volunteer orientation and role-specific training
- Opportunity for other duties
Skills and qualifications include:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community preferred
- Have attended the 2SLGBTQ+ Community Connections previously (formerly LGBTQ+ social)
- Facilitation experience an asset
- Police check with with vulnerable sector screening required
Time commitment required:
- 2 hours, 2 times per month (1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 6-8pm)
