York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for an Accountant  Assistant Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves numbers. 

The Accounting Assistant Volunteer is responsible for: 

► Creating and working with complex spreadsheets to help us make business/financial decisions 

► Work with financial documents such as invoices and receipts, and work with financial softwares such as QuickBooks

► Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone 

► Signing into shift on time

Who We're Looking For: 

- Minimum age: 12 

- Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares 

- Complete training prior to start date 

- Can commit to the shift schedule

Bonus Skills: 

- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English 

- Previous volunteer experience
