About This Opportunity
An adult learner in St. Albert needs your help! We are seeking a patient and flexible tutor to work with a learner who has dyslexia. This learner would like to work on her reading and writing skills that are currently at a grade 4 level. She would also like support as she completes a Knowledge and Employability program. She enjoys reading fiction (with the use of reading aids) and drawing.
How it works: spend about 30 minutes per week on lesson planning before meeting face to face for an hour. This learner needs a flexible tutor who is available to meet in the afternoon or evening on varying days. She would prefer to meet at the St. Albert library, or is alternatively able to go to the Castle Downs branch of EPL.
Every CFL tutor receives training and ongoing support from our hardworking staff. You also have access to our digital and physical resource libraries so you can choose fun and engaging activities for your lessons. Need more information?
