About This Opportunity
Pathways to Education is a community-based education program that works with youth to increase high school graduation rates, putting them on the path towards post-secondary education and meaningful employment.
We are looking for volunteers to support our after-school program which runs from Monday to Thursday – 4:00 to 6:00pm.
We have a variety of roles available to volunteers: you can help tutor and mentor our students, as well as help with healthy snack preparation, serving snack, and helping with clean-up.
Familiarity with high school Math, Science, English, Social Studies and other subjects and languages is an asset, as is experience in mentoring and positive role-modelling.
Feeling a bit rusty when it comes to the high-school subjects listed above? Not a problem! We would always require help with snack preparation, serving and clean-up.
If this seems like a good fit for you - please get in touch for more information.
