About This Opportunity
Volunteers help young artists with their projects while building trustful relationships in a positive and meaningful manner. Engages and meets iHuman young artists where they are at emotionally, intellectually, and psychologically. Facilitates and supports youth art projects when needed. Assists with operational tasks such as helping to stretch and prime canvases, clean paint brushes, tidy and organize the Art Studio, Assists with the coordination of occasional art projects such as art shows, exhibitions, commissions, etc. when needed.

- Additional Requirements
- Resume or Linkedin profile
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
- Own cell phone
- ● Experience with different arts techniques such as drawing, painting, watercolour, graffiti art, mixed media, muralism, printmaking, etc.
- ● Understanding of trauma-informed practices and systemic challenges facing vulnerable and marginalized youth is an asset.
- ● Experience working with vulnerable and marginalized youth (12-24) is preferred.
