St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre Brantford is currently looking for visionary members of our community to serve on our Volunteer Board of Trustees and Board Committees. Working collaboratively with the President, the Board of Trustees is actively involved in the governance and setting of strategic priorities and goals based on our vision, mission, and values. 

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy collaboration and teamwork, and who value compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. You would be joining a group that is passionate about and committed to the provision of programs and services to support older adults and those suffering from a life- limiting disease. 

We are seeking individuals with diverse life experiences and an interest in giving back to their community. Experience in property management, technology, human resources and communications would be considered assets to the Board.

St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre Brantford campus of care includes a 205-bed long-term care facility and Stedman Community Hospice. Providing a distinctive continuum of care, we respond to a wide variety of individual needs. In addition to long-term care and residential hospice services, we provide palliative community care outreach support services. Our campus of care includes medical clinics, a child daycare center, allied health services, and a retail pharmacy. 

Our Board and Board Committee members reflect the diversity of our community that we serve and deliver services in keeping with the legacy, mission, and values of the Sisters of St. Joseph and their history of compassion and care for vulnerable members of the community.
