About This Opportunity

Responsibilities: 

1. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with fellow board members to set organizational goals, define strategic priorities, and ensure alignment with our mission. 

 2. Governance: Provide oversight and governance to ensure sound financial management, compliance with regulations, and accountability to stakeholders. 

 3. Program Support: Offer insights and guidance on program development and expansion to enhance our impact.

4. Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for our organization, advocating for inclusivity and community engagement. 

 5. Fundraising: Assist in fundraising efforts to secure resources for our initiatives and help sustain our mission. 


 Qualifications: 

- Passion for inclusivity and breaking down barriers. 

- Strong commitment to the organization's mission and values. 

- Relevant experience in governance, leadership, or nonprofit management. 

- Willingness to actively participate in board meetings, committees, and organizational events.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of board members and stakeholders. 

 Time Commitment: 

Board meetings: Typically Monthly but will be transitioning to quarterly in the new year, with additional committee meetings as needed. 

- Involvement in organizational events and initiatives, as required.
