About This Opportunity
Are you interested in serving and supporting in a board capacity for an organization or advisory group that supports the arts? Recently formed Early Music ensemble seeks a Treasurer to sit on our Board of Directors.
The Treasurer should have a strong working knowledge of accounting. Their primary responsibility is to assist with Tax Reporting.
In collaboration with the Founder, they may also prepare financial reports for each meeting that include information about the organization's viability, stability, and growth. These reports need to be clear and concise to help inform any of the Board's decisions.
the Treasurer may also assist in managing the organization funds, which includes making important decisions regarding spending and investing. They work closely with the Founder and Managing Artistic Director and committees to prepare the annual budget for Board approval.
