About This Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and distribute board meeting agendas, minutes and materials in a timely manner
· Maintain official records, including meeting minutes, bylaws, and board policies
· Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., annual filings, record retention)
· Support board member onboarding and documentation
· Serve as a liaison between the board, leadership, and external stakeholders as needed
· Monitor board attendance and maintain accurate contact information for directors
Qualifications:
· Strong organizational and written communication skills
· Familiarity with governance practices and non-profit operations
· Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
· Experience with document management and virtual collaboration tools is an asset
Time Commitment:
Estimated 4 to 6 hours/month, including meeting preparation and follow-up, plus attendance at monthly Board meetings (1.5 to 2 hours).
