About This Opportunity
If you love reading and working with children, this is a great role for you! Those aged 16+ and fluent in English and/or French will have the opportunity to help build confidence and literacy skills in a young reader (aged 6-12). Volunteers are required to commit to 1 hour per week for a minimum of 6 months. This is a great way to obtain community service hours, connect with your community, make a big difference in a child's life, and have fun while you're at it! You can volunteer at whatever library branch and day/time work best for you. Please note that all volunteers are required to submit to a police background check.
