About This Opportunity

The Bylaw & Governance Strategist will work closely with the CDSRA Board of Directors to revamp the organization's bylaws and constitution, ensuring compliance with the Societies Act and meeting organizational requirements. This position is pivotal in leading the effort to modernize and improve governance documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Chair the Bylaws and Constitution Revision Committee.
Draft and propose revisions to existing bylaws and constitution.
Ensure all revisions comply with the Societies Act and CDSRA's strategic goals.
Facilitate discussions and consensus-building among board members.
Complete the revision process by the end of the year.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of governance, legal frameworks, and organizational policy.
Familiarity with the Societies Act.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication and consensus-building abilities.

This role is critical in ensuring the CDSRA's governance structures are robust, compliant, and aligned with the organization's mission and vision.
