Pride Stables provides therapeutic horseback riding to people with disabilities. We are looking for volunteers for our upcoming Spring session. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old and no horse experience is necessary.
Volunteer commitment is a minimum of 90 minutes once a week for the 8 week session.
Volunteers need to be able think critically, problem solve, have the ability to work independently, and maintain an awareness of their surroundings at all times. Unexpected situations can arise at anytime involving horse and/or rider. Volunteers must possess good listening and verbal communication skills, and be able to follow directions.
We are looking for leader positions as well as side walker positions.
