Event Details: “Celebrate Canada Day” is a grand annual public event hosted by the government of the City of Markham, designed for families across Markham which is the community we serve and locate in. This event usually features artist performances, food trucks, children's activities, and fireworks at night to mark the end of the event.
Job Description: During the event, you will need to hand out materials to participants, conduct surveys with participants, communicate with other staff and participants to solve their inquiries and problems, etc. In the event, you shall follow any reasonable rules and instructions given by the staff of the City of Markham.
Time:
- Children Activity Tent : 2:15 PM - 7:30 PM
- Food Vendors Coordinator: 11:15 AM - 6:30 PM
- Information + Lost & Found Booth
- Shift 1: 2:15 PM - 7:00 PM
- Shift 2: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Survey: 2:15 PM - 8:30 PM
- Inflatables Station: 2:15 PM - 7:30 PM
Requirements:
- Must be or above the age of 15 years old
- Must attend the training orientation on June 10 3:30PM (online)
