Yonge Street Mission (YSM) is starting to plan for our 17th Annual Toy Market. This festive program allows families to enjoy a special holiday season, while maintaining the dignity and respect that YSM aims to provide to all. This year, we are hoping to be able to provide toys to almost 1000 children! YSM’s Annual Toy Market is greatly supported by our amazing volunteers. As a Christmas Donor Researcher, you will support the Christmas Toy Market Committee in obtaining donations of toys from a variety of different avenues. You will research potential donors, solicit donations, and work with the committee to schedule toy drop offs.

About This Opportunity
- Research a variety potential toy/monetary donors
- Reach out to potential donors providing information on YSM’s Annual Toy Market, explaining our needs and asking for donations
- Maintain a detailed list of researched donors, including information on donations, types of donors, and donor information
- Coordinating drop-off times with Toy Leader volunteer
- Comply with and respect all YSM volunteer processes, policies, guidelines and the YSM Mission Statement
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
