About This Opportunity

The Dishwasher position is a major part in the operations of the Community Kitchen. The dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes are cleaned according to health and safety standards. Volunteering as a dishwasher is a great way to gain experience for future employment in the restaurant industry, develop efficiency and attention to detail, or just to meet great people! All ages welcome! Maybe you are a student, someone looking to gain professional experience, practice their English or just be part of a great cause. In any cases, this opportunity will be suited for you.

Duties: 

  • Wash dishes and food equipment using proper health and safety methods.
  • Dry and store clean dishes in their proper place.
  • Restore the area back to its original state.
  • Work with other volunteers as part of a team and communicate with them.
  • Report any problems to the program coordinator.
Qualifications and Skills 
  • Energetic and positive attitude.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Able to follow directions well.
