Volunteer-Led Programs
Information and Referal Servies
-Friendly walk-in or phone support for resources, safelty information and assistance with neighbourhood concerns. Icludes community lost and found, and general community help
Foot Patrols
-Eyes and Ears on the street to support the community and report crime and safety concerns, pick up needles and report graffiti
Road Safety
-Volunteers partner with the VPD and ICBC to promote safe streets for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers throuh public education campaigns
Community Cleanup (CPTED)
-Graffiti and litter cleanups using CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles
Outreach
-Volunteers engage with residents, build relationships and represent the CPC at community events and initiatives across Gastown and Hastings Crossing
