About This Opportunity
Will be trained under Journey Homes Compassionate Doula Volunteer Program.
Compassionate Doulas will go into hospices, hospitals, retirement homes and private homes to sit with those seeking guidance in death and dying.
Compassionate Doulas are gifted in holding space for another person to feel comfortable in expressing their truth.
Compassionate Doulas are not in this space to fix, change, or control the experience or emotions towards the experience.
Compassionate Doulas are aware of the pain and suffering of being alive and sit with the wholeness of life.
