About This Opportunity
We are looking for a representative from the Georgina community to sit on our advisory committee for the Lake Simcoe Conservation Preserve. This is a unique opportunity for you to take part in the Comprehensive Planning process for the Preserve. Committee members are expected to:
- Participate in quarterly meetings (roughly 6 meetings overall) beginning in July 2025, with some additional meetings booked as necessary. Meetings will be a combination of in-person and online over the next 15 months, the schedule will be determined at the first meeting.
- Prepare for meetings in advance, which includes reviewing materials provided by the Conservation Authority.
- Participate in constructive and respectful dialogue with the rest of the committee.
