About This Opportunity
OVERVIEW Pick-up and pick-out appropriate donations from Costco for the families at Discovery House.
GOALS The food, household and hygiene items you pick-up fulfil the basic needs of the families at Discovery House.
ACTIVITIES/TASKS Pick-up donations at Costco, East Hills location. Based on guidelines provided and your judgement you will select items that will be useful to the families at Discovery House. Items that are not useful or inappropriate can be left with Costco. You will bring the donations to Discovery House and unload them at the appropriate areas (donation room, pantry or wall shop).
SHIFT DURATION 3 hours, dependent on traffic and how many donations
CADENCE Monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly
REQUIREMENTS AND TRAINING Vulnerable Sector Police Check, Orientation
PERSONAL TRAITS NEEDED OR DESIRED Good judgement, thoughtful

WORKING CONDITIONS
Own vehicle, valid drivers license, you will sift through a couple pallets outside the warehouse, able to lift 30 lbs.
