Join the Team – Volunteer at the 2024 CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival!
We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly and engaged volunteers to join our team and provide an outstanding experience for all attendees.
About the CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival
From the producers of the Eastside Culture Crawl Festival comes an innovative art-making event, the CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival. The 4th annual CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival is a week-long, exciting, and immersive arts event this summer, bringing together local visual & performing artists and the community to explore, learn, create and perform in Strathcona Park, and in pop up locations such as breweries, venues, and art studios across the Eastside Arts District.
Volunteer roles include:
- Promo Support
-Pop-Up Workshop
- Liaison Set-up / Tear Down Team (may require lifting & carrying)
- Attendee Check-in Festival Ambassador (may require lifting & carrying)
- First Aid Art! Bike! Beer! Crawl Team Leaders Music Ambassador (may require lifting & carrying)

Important Dates
- Volunteer Orientation Session – Thursday, July 18th @ 6pm in Strathcona Park (pizza provided!)
- Pop Up Workshops – July 22 - 26 from 6:30 - 9pm
-In Park Festival Day – Saturday, July 27th from 8am - 8pm in Strathcona Park
Commitments
Volunteer shifts will take place at:
- Various East Vancouver breweries (for Pop Up Workshops) from Monday July 22nd to Friday July 26th
- Strathcona Park on Friday, July 26th and Saturday, July 27th
- Across East Vancouver at breweries (for the Art! Bike! Beer! Crawl) on Saturday July 27th.
Most shifts take place on Saturday July 27th, with a few limited spots July 22nd - 26th. - Shifts run 3-4 hours.
As thanks for your amazing support, we are happy to offer our volunteers:
- Complimentary light food and drinks in our volunteer tent at Check In
- A General Admission pass to our Art Zone with free art activities and a live music show (2-6pm) + access to food trucks and a beer garden before or after their shift
- A voucher for a free scoop of Earnest Ice Cream (off-site) to all volunteers
- CREATE! Eastside Arts Festival Hat
All volunteers must be 19+
