About This Opportunity
WSN is looking for volunteers to staff our 24/7 crisis-line and online crisis-chat line! Volunteers will receive comprehensive training and ongoing professional development. All training and shifts are completed virtually, and volunteers are allowed to pick their shifts to fit within their schedules. Volunteers will provide emotional support, safety planning, information & service connection to anyone who calls the crisis line or utilizes the online chat line.
Volunteers are required to complete three full days of virtual training, and cover at least four shifts a month, each being roughly 4-5 hours long. We ask that volunteers make a commitment to being a volunteer in the program for at least one year.
