Would you like to be a part of a weekly (Wednesdays 8:00am-2:30pm) drop-in meal service program that improves the lives of the homelessness community with care and dignity? We are located in North York and we are a weekly drop-in food security and social supports program serving the homeless community and those living in poverty each week. Our community benefits from friendly contact, social services such as a weekly ID clinic and housing help as well as a multitude of other support services that improve the equality of our guests lives in a supportive, all inclusive, multi cultural, anti-discriminatory and welcoming environment. Our weekly meal preparation takes the group effort of our dedicated and friendly volunteers who prepare a hot, nutritious and delicious meal including soup salad and dessert each week for our guests!

We need:
Kitchen meal prep volunteers
Meal servers ( to sever the tables )
Cook volunteers (short on cooks but you will never cook alone and its easy assembly cooking i.e. trays of protein go in the oven and large pots of veggies are boiled each meal preparation. So no major cooking skills required.
Dishwashers volunteers
Breakfast set up volunteers
Volunteer soup makers
Basically all areas of food preparation for our daily meal and continental breakfast are needed.
We need someone who can pick up our Cobbs bread donation in Thorn Hill twice a month and deliver it the drop-in. We serve this wonderful bread each morning to our guests for breakfast.
