Customer Service Ambassadors Are Needed

Agency Charity Bingo volunteers are needed to represent Victim Services of Peel at both of our bingo hall locations: Rama Mississauga located at 2295 Battleford Road, Mississauga and Delta Bingo & Gaming located at 291 Rutherford Rd S, Brampton. Bingo volunteers are responsible for sharing information about our organization with the guests, providing general customer service, delivering food orders, assistance with bingo games such as calling back Bingos and balls tickets, assistance with clean-up after the games, and answering or redirecting questions about the game or Bingo Hall processes.   

This role is best suited to an individual with either an outgoing personality, or the ability to interact comfortably with people of all ages and backgrounds. As well as being an onsite representative for our agency, the volunteer's interactions with staff and patrons should contribute to the overall atmosphere and experience.  

Please note that this position requires that the representative remain standing on the Bingo floor for the duration of the session (2 hours) moving throughout the Bingo Hall. 

Victim Services of Peel attends the Brampton Hall two Fridays per month from 12:00-2:00 pm, and the Mississauga Hall two Tuesdays per month from 2:00-4:00 pm. If selected to move forward with this role, you will be given access to she scheduled dates/times for each hall.

*Volunteers applying for this role must be available to commit to a minimum of two shifts per month.

Please note that you will not be asked to handle cash or conduct games at any time.

Summary of Roles & Responsibilities for Bingo Volunteers

1. At least two bona fide, trained members who are at least 18 years of age must be present for each bingo assignment for the recipient agency to receive their portion of the funds

2. All volunteers must attend an OLG training session before working their first bingo shift

3. All volunteers must ensure that they adhere to OLG dress code guidelines (golf shirts provided)
