About This Opportunity
We are looking for 2 professionals to join our Board: Public Accountant and Lawyer.
Directors of the Board meet 8 times a year: Quarterly for 2 hours (4 board meetings) and annually at the 2-hour Annual General Meeting, 3-hour Strategic Planning Meeting and 3-hour Volunteer Family Acknowledgement Lunch, and 2 Fundraising events (4 additional meetings or events).
Directors of the Board either Chair or Co-chair a working committee composed mainly of volunteers who advance the mission to transform family stress into relief for children and their families. Committee work ranges from Community Engagement and Programming, Treasury and Finance, Fundraising Events, Digital Marketing, Administration/Management, to name a few.
