About This Opportunity
Arrival Aid is a youth-led nonprofit committed to creating positive change within Canada's growing international community. Through interactive workshops and community-based initiatives, we aim to foster connection, build understanding and promote dual integration - ensuring newcomers feel informed, supported, and truly welcomed in their new home.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage program and organizational budgets
Monitor and track spending to ensure transparency
Identify relevant grants and funding opportunities
Lead or support the writing and submission of grant proposals
Maintain a basic system for organizing financial and grant-related documents
Collaborate with our youth-led team to build sustainable operations
Attend and contribute to board meetings (remote)
What We are Looking For
Familiar with budgeting, financial planning, or nonprofit operations (or willing to learn)
Strong writing or research skills, particularly for grant writing or fundraising
Organized, independent, and proactive
Open to learning and growing alongside a collaborative team
