About This Opportunity

Arrival Aid is a youth-led nonprofit committed to creating positive change within Canada's growing international community. Through interactive workshops and community-based initiatives, we aim to foster connection, build understanding and promote dual integration - ensuring newcomers feel informed, supported, and truly welcomed in their new home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage program and organizational budgets

  • Monitor and track spending to ensure transparency

  • Identify relevant grants and funding opportunities

  • Lead or support the writing and submission of grant proposals

  • Maintain a basic system for organizing financial and grant-related documents

  • Collaborate with our youth-led team to build sustainable operations

  • Attend and contribute to board meetings (remote)

What We are Looking For

  • Familiar with budgeting, financial planning, or nonprofit operations (or willing to learn)

  • Strong writing or research skills, particularly for grant writing or fundraising

  • Organized, independent, and proactive

  • Open to learning and growing alongside a collaborative team
