As a Donor Engagement Volunteer, you will play a vital role in our fundraising efforts by reaching out to current donors, thanking them for their contributions, updating them on the organization’s impact, and encouraging continued support. Your efforts will directly support our mission and contribute to the success of our fundraising campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Call and conduct “thank you, welcome and encourage support” calls to donors. You will be asking current donors if they are interested in donating (no direct donations will be taken over the phone, and will not involve cold calling, we will provide you with a script as guidance). 

 • Come into the office for a few hours, using our phone to conduct phone calls 

• Maintaining a record of interactions and updating data as necessary 

• Develop positive relationships with donors by listening actively, addressing their questions or concerns, and maintaining a respectful, professional tone.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Excellent verbal communication skills  

• Love engaging with people, creating customer delight and thrives on making a difference 

• Have strong customer service skills and friendly phone manners
