Do you want to be a part of Vancouver’s largest visual arts event of the year? Join our volunteer team for the 28th annual Eastside Culture Crawl! 

Our “Crawlunteers” are crucial to the operation of our organization—this year, more than ever. We are pleased to offer an in-person Culture Crawl experience, as we continue to connect artists, craftspeople, and designers with the community. Now in its 28th year, the Eastside Culture Crawl offers unparalleled, intimate access for artists and the community to connect through open studio weekends, exhibits, workshops & demos, and artists talks. 

- Connect with other extraordinary volunteers, our great artists and wonderful attendees 

- Contribute to the diversity and vibrancy of the visual arts community in Vancouver 

-Discover buildings, studios, art, artists and the art-making process

-Get insight into the behind-the-scenes of running an arts festival Build your volunteer profile on your resume 

2024 Festival Dates:

November 14–17

Thu & Fri 5–10pm / Sat & Sun 11am–6pm 

Duties this year include: 

- Ambassadors: Handing out programs and providing festival information to attendees across the Crawl territory, counting attendees and/or ensuring safety supplies (hand sanitizer) and festival materials (maps) are available to attendees and studios (Nov 14-17) 

- Donation Kiosk Support: Taking tap donations at Parker or Mergatroid Studios, enthusiastically sharing benefits of donating and answering questions during the festival (Nov 14-17) 

- Festival Info Tent: Welcoming and directing attendees; giving out information & maps; selling merchandise; handling lost & found items; first aid assistance as necessary (Nov 14-17) 

- Distribution: Distribution of save-the-date cards and posters to community gathering spaces (Sept-Oct-Nov) 

Please note all volunteers must be 19+. 

Volunteers are asked to attend a Volunteer information session in October. Date TBD.
