About This Opportunity
A & O Senior Immigrant Settlement Services requires culturally sensitive volunteers, who enjoy working with older adults to facilitate conversation classes for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
The volunteer:
- Assists participants in the program to achieve greater fluency and confidence in the English language through conversation in an informal group setting
- Facilitates English conversation circles using the program curriculum.
Skills Required: Strong leadership skills and experience in group work with excellent communication skills is a requirement.

Time Commitment: Daytime
2 hours per week for 15 weeks (90-minute session & prep time)
