We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist at Discovery X conference (https://www.discoveryxconference.ca/)

The conference is scheduled for April 16 17 and 18. As an event assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the event by providing assistance to our team. 

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Assisting with Event booth setup and décor set up on April 16th and early morning of April 17th Greeting attendees as they arrive at the booth and providing them with a warm welcome. 
• Answering general inquiries from attendees and providing information about our services. Encouraging attendees to sign up to our mobile app. 
• Monitoring designated areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the event. Providing support to event organizers as needed, including registration assistance, distributing promotional materials, and other tasks as assigned. 
• Assisting with booth tear down on April 18th

 Who we are looking for: 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a customer service-oriented attitude. 
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. 
• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned duties. 

Previous experience in customer service, event hosting, or hospitality is preferred but not required. 

Availability to volunteer for shifts on at least one whole day (April 16, 17 and 18), with flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
