Event Team Member
Summary
The Fundraising Event Team, reporting to the Fund Development Manager, will have an integral role in the Shelter Movers Waterloo Region. The main duties include planning and coordinating fundraising events.

Responsibilities:
-Source fundraising event and sponsorship opportunities
-Build strong relationships with donors and sponsors
-Make presentations and submit proposals to potential donors and sponsors
-Plan strategies to encourage or increase funding and sponsorships
-Secure donations and sponsorship from individuals or corporate sponsors
-Plan virtual and in-person fundraising events
Training / Work Conditions:
Training Details: Training will be provided.
Working Conditions: This volunteer position can be done virtually during event planning. In-person attendance may be required depending on the event.

Duration: 4 - 6 months
