About This Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, volunteers are essential to the successful operations of the new St. Catharines Buskerfest. Located in downtown St. Catharines, a exciting line-up of musicians, magicians, performers and illusionists will take to the streets to perform the crowds. We are looking for volunteers in various roles:
- Pitch Captains (two per pitch
- At the end of each show, they take picture of crowd at pitch. The volunteers will provide water to performers, give performers show end warning, and alert staff of any issues
- Runners:
- Provide breaks to stationary volunteers
- Barricade Volunteer
- Track the number of attendees coming into the event, will be positioned at entrances to festival to ensure only authorized traffic enters the site, and answer questions of festival goers
- Guest Experience Volunteer
- Gather feedback of festival-goers of their experience to help make year coming year amazing
- Garbage crew
- Keep the streets clean by emptying garbage receptacle on street and transport to the appropriate waste management areas
- Green Room
- Will keep the green room clean and organized for performers, providing assistance where needed, and reporting any issues to staff
