Festival Volunteer (various roles) - August 2022
Summary
Help us to make magic! Dusk Dances is an outdoor dance festival that brings high-quality dance to public parks, and we need at least 20 volunteers at each performance to create a magical experience for both the audience and the dancers.

About This Opportunity
There are 3 main volunteer roles at the festival:
1. Front of House Volunteers (Ushers) do a lot of
talking and walking—they talk to passersby and audience members, answer
questions, and help guide the audience around the park. They also
collect donations. Some font of house volunteers are stationed at the
information tent.
2. Production Volunteers help the crew to set up and
take down signage, the information table, the dressing room/tent, sets,
and props. They are then assigned to a performance site or a backstage
area, where they assist performers as needed and watch over all
equipment and supplies before and during the show.
3. Floater Volunteers might do any—or all—of the above.
*** All volunteer shifts last approximately 5 hours, but start and end times vary. For more information and to register for any role, visit the Dusk Dances Volunteer Hub: https://timecounts.org/dusk-dances. NOTE: As of July 12, 2022, many of the Production shifts are full, but there are still LOTS of Usher (Front of House) shifts available. There is also a waitlist for all positions.***
