About This Opportunity

There are 3 main volunteer roles at the festival:

1. Front of House Volunteers (Ushers) do a lot of talking and walking—they talk to passersby and audience members, answer questions, and help guide the audience around the park. They also collect donations. Some font of house volunteers are stationed at the information tent

2. Production Volunteers help the crew to set up and take down signage, the information table, the dressing room/tent, sets, and props. They are then assigned to a performance site or a backstage area, where they assist performers as needed and watch over all equipment and supplies before and during the show.

3. Floater Volunteers might do any—or all—of the above.

Two additional volunteer roles are available before and during the festival:
Training assistant (at the orientation and training sessions, on July 23 and 28)
Standby volunteer for the rain-day dress rehearsal (July 30, 11 am – 4 pm)

Most volunteer shifts last approximately 5 hours, but start and end times vary.
