About This Opportunity

Are you passionate about helping those in need within our community? Do you have a few hours to spare each week? If so, we have an opportunity for you! We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to volunteer at our food bank in Niagara Falls. Volunteers will assist clients as they access our emergency food program, which is vital in providing support to individuals struggling to meet their basic needs. 

 Position Details:

 Commitment: 3 hours every week 

Duration: Minimum of 6 months 

Location: 4129 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting clients as they access our food bank services. 
  • Ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients 
  • Helping with the organization and distribution of food items 
  • Collaborating with staff to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of the foodbank.

Our emergency food program is our most accessed service, providing food to individuals in Niagara Falls who are who are struggling to meet their basic needs.

  • Minimum 16 years old
  • Willing to undergo a background or police records check
  • Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
