Annual Canada Day Community BBQ Volunteer Opportunity Join our team for a free community event that has brought families and neighbours together for over 15 years. Volunteers will help create a fun, welcoming, and safe experience for families.
The Abiezer Community BBQ is a free annual Canada Day celebration that has served local families and residents for more than 15 years. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a success.
Volunteers may assist with:
Event setup and takedown
Children's games and activity stations
Registration and welcome table
Hospitality and guest support
Prize and giveaway stations
General event support and cleanup
No previous experience is required. Training and guidance will be provided. This opportunity is suitable for students seeking volunteer hours, families, community members, and anyone who enjoys giving back and working with people.
Volunteer hours and reference letters can be provided upon request.
