About This Opportunity

Friendly visitors play a vital role in reducing social isolation within the community, they become special friends with clients. Their duties include maintaining a non-judgmental attitude regarding others lifestyle and personal habits, attending ongoing training and being willing to learn about dementia. They are responsible for maintaining client confidentiality at all times, regularly socializing with clients and staying in contact with the program supervisor. they must monitor clients well-being report any major changes and be familiar with emergency procedures. Promptly reporting client absences and any noticeable changes in the clients well-being to the program supervisor is also crucial.
