About This Opportunity

Volunteers will be tending to the garden and helping with a variety of outdoor tasks. 

Residents and families enjoy our beautiful gardens and grounds maintained by our volunteers.

Qualifications: 

  • Interest and some experience in gardening and yard work 
  • Physical ability to do yard work including pushing, bending, kneeling and lifting. 
  • Commitment to working safely with proper footwear and clothing. 

 Requirements: 

  • Over 16 years old 
  • Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Police Screening if over 18 years old and references

Training Provided: Orientation and training on safe use of equipment 

 Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week from April to October Monday to Friday, daytime hours
