Volunteer Role Descriptions

Registration & Guest Check-In
Welcome golfers and guests, assist with registration, provide event information, and help create a positive first impression.

Breakfast Support
Assist with breakfast service, greet guests, and help ensure participants have a smooth start to their day.

Golf Contest Support
Support exciting on-course activities including Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, Putting Challenge, Hole-in-One, and Hole-in-Two contests. Help coordinate participants, track results, and create a fun guest experience.

Silent Auction & 50/50 Support
Assist guests with auction activities, answer questions, help monitor bids, and support a successful auction experience.

Dinner & Guest Experience Support
Welcome and assist guests and support the evening program to ensure attendees have an enjoyable experience.

Volunteer Qualifications

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers who enjoy working with people and supporting a positive event experience. Ideal candidates will have:

• Customer service experience and a welcoming, guest-focused approach.
• Ability to follow instructions by Variety Staff and support event procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in golf, community events, or supporting a meaningful cause.
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and willingness to help where needed.

Previous event experience is an asset but not required. Whether you're an experienced event volunteer or looking to gain new skills, we welcome your support!
