Good Afternoon,
I’m reaching out from the Badlands Amphitheatre, a non-profit arts and culture charity based in Drumheller, to ask if you'd consider sharing an exciting volunteer opportunity with your network. We’re currently recruiting for Great Big Weekend, our biggest music event of the year running August 8–10 in the stunning Canadian Badlands.

It’s a fun, fast-paced environment where most roles allow you to catch the majority of the performance while being part of something special.

📋 Roles Include:
- Concession & Food Support
- Parking
- Merchandise Sales
- Ticket Taking & Ushering
- Pub Tent (18+)
- General Event Support
- Security
- First Aid (valid certification required)
- Early Site Parking Gatekeeper (watch the show after your shift, with a quick assist at intermission)
⏰ Shifts run approx. 4:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Volunteers can join for one night, two, or all three.
👥 Minimum Age: 14+ (under 16 must volunteer with an adult)
🗣️ No experience necessary! All volunteers receive a on-site orientation before their shift.

A laid-back evening of live music, great food, and good vibes. Volunteers keep the energy flowing and the crowd happy at this fun, food-forward festival.
