About This Opportunity
Many of our clients are elderly and frail, which often restricts their ability to go grocery shopping. We understand the importance of having regular access to fresh groceries, and that's why we are seeking volunteers to help us with our grocery pickup and delivery program in downtown Toronto or the Southern York Region (Richmond Hill, Thornhill, etc).
As a volunteer, your role will involve:
- Picking up grocery orders from local stores on a weekly basis, following orders placed by clients
- Delivering the groceries to the clients' homes
- Providing additional assistance in organizing and putting away the delivered food items, if needed
