About This Opportunity
Are you skilled in design and passionate about improving health literacy among immigrant and refugee women? We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Health Literacy Program team supporting newcomer women at MOSAIC BC. Help us create informative and visually engaging infographics about the BC healthcare system!
About the Role:
As a volunteer, you’ll work with our team to design and produce infographics that explain the BC healthcare system, making it easier for immigrant and refugee women to navigate their health care options. Your work will directly support their understanding of the system and empower them to access the care they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design infographics, including flowcharts and other visual aids.
- Conduct comprehensive research on the BC healthcare system.
- Translate complex health information into clear, accessible infographics.
- Ensure that all materials are culturally sensitive and easy to understand.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in creating infographics, particularly flowcharts and visual aids.
- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively through visuals.
- Passion for supporting immigrant and refugee communities.
