About This Opportunity
Homecare Visitor volunteers may do any of the following, depending on specific client needs:
Must be able to commit regular time to assigned client based on homecare referral. Visit with the client once a week for 1-3 hours. Call their client before every visit to ensure availability and confirmation.
Participate in activities with the client, this may include, but not limited to:
Going for short walks
Enjoying healthy beverages and snacks together
Writing letters, playing cards and games, supporting crafts,
Reading, listening to music, socializing, conversation
Attend outings with your client if that is what you both are comfortable with.
Volunteer will be part of the inter-disciplinary team and report any client findings or concerns to Volunteer Resources and client's Case Manager.

- Minimum 18 years old (upon successful interview we will have applicant do police & vulnerable sector check, and ask for 2 references)
