About This Opportunity
Since 1981, HOPE Volleyball SummerFest has been supporting local charities with the proceeds from its volleyball tournament held each July at Mooney’s Bay Beach. This year, Make-A-Wish Canada is one of HOPE’s recipient charities and we are thrilled to be receiving funding for our initiatives.
We will need volunteer Greeters and Scorekeepers. Greeters will work in pairs (register with a friend!) and assist with professional security in and around the event site, monitoring the event grounds and entrances. Scorekeepers will assist Court staff and assist in tournament area.
Training will be provided in a Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, July 12th. There will be 2 sessions to choose from (6:30pm or 7:30pm), and it will be held at Mooney’s Bay Beach Volunteer Tent.
The event will take place outdoors and will go on rain or shine, please dress appropriately for the weather.
