We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to become hospice volunteers. Our hospice volunteers commit 2-4 hours per week to their role and help bring comfort and support to clients facing life threatening illnesses. 

 As a hospice volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact through: 

•  Companionship: Providing a warm and empathetic presence to our clients, offering conversation, companionship, and a listening ear. 
•  Emotional Support: Offering comfort and emotional support to clients and their families, creating a safe space for them to express their feelings and concerns. 
•  Practical Assistance: Assisting with practical tasks to provide much-needed relief to clients and their caregivers. 

 Our hospice volunteers receive free comprehensive training, with a mandatory 30-hour training program. This training equips you with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care and support to our clients and their families. We offer training sessions three times a year, in the winter, spring, and fall.
