About This Opportunity

*Must be a stroke survivor (12 months minimum since stroke occurred) or a caregiver for someone who has had a stroke to be eligible for this role.
By connecting individuals who have experienced the impact of a stroke, with those that are beginning their path to healing, volunteers provide invaluable emotional support, share personal stories, and offer hope and encouragement. Volunteers will engage with patients in hospital settings, including acute care, inpatient, or outpatient rehabilitation units. 
This is a unique opportunity to help others navigate the challenges of recovery, combat feelings of isolation, and inspire confidence during a challenging and uncertain time.
