About This Opportunity

 SUMMARY:

Assist with recruitment activities, onboarding processes, personnel file management, timesheets, and data entry. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and organizational skills while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Proven ability to coordinate interviews, schedule meetings, and ensure accurate documentation. Passionate about fostering positive workplace environments and contributing to effective HR operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

• Maintain all personnel files and related record systems

• Assist in signing up and maintaining the employees’ benefits program

• Assist with employee stats and payroll paperwork/digital files

• Research health and safety practices and suggest improvements to existing HR policies

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process with the TCES Management team

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

• Review and analyze the performance evaluation system that drives high performance amongst all TCES employees

• Assess applicants by their resumes and select possible candidates to interview

• Analyze prospective individuals for the orientation/hiring process and prepare employee letters as needed

• Ensure legal and safety compliance is adhered by within the organization


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant completed post-secondary education in Human Resources and or in process of obtaining CHRP is an asset

• Knowledgeable of HR policies

• Excellent oral and written professional communication skills

• Exceptional discretion and judgement when dealing with confidential and sensitive information/matters

• Experienced in

• Skilled in utilizing HR systems/databases, excel, social media platforms, and Microsoft word

• Leadership, initiative, strong organization skills, attention to detail, with strong ability to prioritize tasks and complete them within a timely manner

• In-depth knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices

• Police Check is & references are required
