About This Opportunity

This program is for children and youth in grades 1-8. You will be matched with a mentee (Little) and will meet with them once a week for one hour at their school for the academic year. You will decide what activities to do based on common interests. For example playing a board game or creating a craft. Through consistent meetings, and with lots of support from your mentoring coordinator, you will develop a relationship based on trust and friendship. This has the potential to be life-changing for both! 


Commitment: 1 hour a week for academic year. Matches do not meet on holidays or summer break.

Requirements: Clear a vulnerable sector police check. Must be 18 years old. 

Personality Traits: responsible, reliable, friendly, understanding, patient
