This exciting initiative aims to engage citizens in physical activities that not only benefit their health but also contribute to the greater good of their community.
Why Should You Get Involved?
Partnering with us for this challenge allows volunteers and community groups to play an active role in shaping the narrative around health and wellness, and to be a part of a movement that values diversity and inclusion. What's the Challenge About?
The goal of the Challenge is to encourage individuals and organizations to track their physical activity (Move Minutes) and contribute to their community's total Move Minutes. The more Move Minutes your community, and your orgnization tracks, the better the community chance to win an amazing prize! Activities create a healthier, more vibrant community.
To assist in the activities, we have an event for each day in June celebrating a different activity, and commemorating diverse special days. We need you to help bring awareness to these special days. What are they you ask? http://www.friendsareas.ca/events/ParticipACTION.html
