About This Opportunity
The Book Nook is a recreational library located in the Galleria (inpatient side of the hospital). The library provides patients with a warm and welcoming environment where they can read, watch a movie or play a game of cards. The Book Nook is supported by Volunteers who assist patients in finding books, magazines and engaging in games.
The Twice as Nice Clothing store is a second-hand boutique that offers inexpensive clothing, accessories and toiletries to patients/clients. The Twice as Nice relies on donations and is a wonderful support in enhancing the patient experience while in hospital. Volunteers assist patients with purchases and the day to day operations of the store. Money generated from the store goes back to purchasing new items for patients and investments in patient programs.
